EDTC 6320 – Cooperative Project
Project Description:
The cooperative project involved the creation of a detailed proposal to assist the client in delivering essential information to prospective students interested in the Educational Technology program for advanced higher education. The proposal addressed frequently asked questions and provided an in-depth understanding of the role of an Educational Technologist. It covered core principles, methodologies, emerging trends, and practical applications of Educational Technology, highlighting potential career pathways in the field. The goal was to inspire and inform students about the exciting possibilities in pursuing a career as an Educational Technologist.

EDTC 6321 – Instructional Design Project
Project Description:
This instructional unit is carefully designed to deliver comprehensive training for onboarding new teaching staff within the local school district. The learning environment provided will be the staff development center, equipped with district-assigned iPads and MacBooks, ensuring access to the necessary technology. Additionally, a snack bar will be available for participants' convenience. The intended audience comprises teachers who are new to the district, encompassing a diverse range of educational backgrounds and technical aptitudes. The primary instructional goal is to equip these new teachers with the knowledge and skills required to set up an Edpuzzle account and seamlessly integrate it with Google Classroom. The specific objectives include setting up an Edpuzzle account, synchronizing it with Google Classroom, creating or editing video lessons, accessing user-friendly data, and leveraging Edpuzzle to enhance the overall teaching experience. To allow for thorough coverage of the content, the session has been extended from its initial duration of 30 minutes to a more comprehensive one-hour timeframe.

EDTC 6323 – Interactive Multimedia Object
Project Description:
This multimedia-rich RLO will provide an easy to use step-by-step interactive guide for teachers who are new to Lyford CISD to securely set up their school email accounts within Outlook Web App and Desktop App on MacBook while utilizing two-factor authentication. It is tailored for teachers with basic computer/Mac skills, understanding of security practices and basic knowledge of two-factor authentication.

EDTC 6325 Educational Communications
Project Description:
This e-learning project aims to equip teachers working in Lyford CISD with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively use Google Classroom to create a web-based class, navigate website components, invite students to register, and upload assignments. Through the use of interactive content including video, discussion boards, and assessments, teachers will be able to develop the necessary understanding and proficiency in Google Classroom to help them save time, stay organized, and most importantly, successfully teach their students.

EDTC 6332 – Practicum Project
Project Description:
This project aims to provide an effective solution to the instructional/training problem of teaching teachers how to use Apple Classroom in K-12 settings. The proposed solution is to develop a self-paced interactive web-based instructional solution that will enhance educators' skills in using Apple Classroom and promote efficient classroom management. The project timeline will include the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. This project will benefit teacher efficiency, student engagement, and overall academic outcomes.
